Show the evidence
If a system makes a claim, it should be able to show where the claim came from, and a test should prove it does. The same goes for my own work.
About
Founder and Principal, Tikor Consulting
I founded Tikor Consulting in 2003, after working at the consulting firms Linora and Quovera. For most of those years the work was Oracle E-Business Suite and enterprise data: implementations, upgrades, migrations and data warehouses for organizations from $4M startups to $40B enterprises.
Today I build and test AI for legal and regulated work. The projects on this site share one rule: if a system makes a claim, it should be able to show where the claim came from, and a test should prove that it does.
I’m also a licensed Washington attorney at Kirby Law Office, PLLC, and I hold the IAPP’s Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional (AIGP) certification. Tikor doesn’t give legal advice; legal work is a separate engagement with the law office.
I write about AI governance, technology and policy at The Correction Path, and my research papers are published on SSRN.
How I work
If a system makes a claim, it should be able to show where the claim came from, and a test should prove it does. The same goes for my own work.
I tell you what you need to hear. If a technology isn’t right for your situation, I’ll say so, even if it means less work for me.
The goal is a team that can run and check its own systems. Every engagement ends with documentation and training, not dependence.
A fixed-scope review of the AI tools your team already uses, tested on your own material. You get written findings and a control plan.
